Dear Robert Jordan,
It is often said that literature binds people beyond frontiers, oceans and societies: it might be true. You are one of the elements of this invisible and magical link. You know how to make people dream, and like a magician, you bring us to your world, which is also ours somehow.
We, members of the francophone community of the Wheel of Time, thank you for your work. Having been told about your illness, we thought it would be nice to wish you a speedy recovery. As the Wheel weels in Randland, it also weels links between you, its author, and us.
Thanks to you, our community has gotten together everywhere in France regularly for almost four years, and has organized role-playing games and contests of fantastic short stories. Thanks to you, we are now a community of more than two hundred active members, many of whom have become friends. The recent creation of our association will go down as a red-letter day that marked the achievement of a movement that you have started.
If it is true an author puts a part of himself in his work, as it is proven by the will and strength of the Wheel of Time’s characters, then we are certain you will overcome this trial.
Mr Jordan, know that you and your wife have our support, our sympathy and thoughtfulness. We would be honoured to meet you in France very soon.
Greetings from the entire Wheel of Time Community

The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills.").

"Greetings from the entire Wheel of Time Community "
