Les Seanchans... ?

J'ai créé ce topic pour "recueillir" des informations sur les Seanchans, ces envahisseurs soit disant descendants des armées envoyées par Artur Aile-de-faucon au-delà de l'océan. Effectivement, mettez ici tous se que vous savez sur eux : leurs façons de s'habiller, leurs grades, leurs "créatures" (ex: les grolms), etc... Je compte sur vous! Merci d'avance!
Pour ma part, je sais juste qu'ils haïssent les femmes capablent de canaliser, ils les considèrent comme des animaux (et encore...) Voilà en gros c'est ça... alors j'espère qu'il y en a qui en savent + que moi !!!

An a'dam is a device for controlling women who can channel, consisting of a collar and bracelet linked by a leash, all of silvery metal. It has no effect on a woman who cannot channel. A sul'dam ("leash holder") is the term for a woman with the ability to control, by means of an a'dam, a woman who can channel. It is a fairly honored position among the Seanchan. Damane ("leashed one") are women who can channel and are controlled by use of an a'dam. Women who can channel but who have not yet been made damane are called marath'damane ("Those Who Must Be Leashed"). (Glossaries, TGH,Ch40)

Seeker for Truth
They are charged with Imperial Security. Most of the prisoners are held in the central imperial prison called the Tower of Ravens. The prison is located in Seandar. Seekers can be identified by raven and tower tattoos.

The Seanchan have returned to the Westlands to reclaim the lands of their forefathers. Étant donné que j’avance dans la lecture de la RdT, j’apprends tous les jours (ou presque ) de nouvelles choses sur les Seanchans. Je complète donc ce récapitulatif le plus souvent possible, et également selon vos réactions, vos idées et vos infos.
Je rappelle aussi que vous pouvez toujours m’en donner un avis et le compléter, car il sera utile, pour toutes personnes voulant s’informées et pour le RP (qui commence lentement mais sûrement ).

Ce qui m'avait marqué chez les Seanchans ,ce sont les etranges moeurs liés à leurs ongles.Il les peignent etc... J'imagine qu'en retrouvant le peuple (sur terre) auquel cette coutume appartient ,on pourrait induire une grosse partie du background des Seanchans.Mais bon,si,sur ce coup la Jordan a tout inventé...

RP = RolePlay, littéralement Jeu de Rôles.
C'est en faite les 3/4 de la Pierre. Chacun construit son perso, fait son BG (un texte de quelques pages maxi sur son passé, sur qui il est, ses intentions, etc.), choisit une Communauté à laquelle il appartiendra (ex: la Tour Blanche, ou encore les Frères Loups) puis peut commencer le RP en question. C'est en faite une grosse histoire (basée sur la RdT évidemment ) où chacun évolue, où divers alliances, amitiés, inamitiés se fondent, où un grand nombre de péripéties se déroulent, etc etc...

la traduction de la partie du BBOBA qui traite des "seekers of the truth", les chercheurs de vérité:
Les chercheurs de vérité forment une organisation appartenant au trône impérial, ils sont la police secrète chargée de l’espionnage et de la sécurité. L’importance des pouvoirs qui leurs sont accordés en fait des personnages très respectés et particulièrement craint. Choisi parmi toutes les classes social, mais habituellement pas parmi ceux du sang, ils disposent de pouvoirs presque illimitées. Etre désigné pour devenir chercheur est un grand honneur et un moyen d’obtenir un important statut social. Bien qu’ils soient considérés comme propriété de l’impératrice, ils peuvent arrêter toute personne qui refuse de répondre à leurs questions ou qui n’offre pas une entière coopération y compris ceux du sang. Ne pas coopérer est de la trahison. Les chercheurs définissent eux même le niveau de coopération exigé. Ils ne rendent des comptes qu’à l’impératrice elle même.
Les chercheurs de vérité donnent la chasse aux amis du ténébreux ce qui rend la lutte plus organisée que partout ailleurs. Cependant le nombre des serviteurs de l’ombre ne semble pas avoir diminué pour autant. En tant que police secrète ils sont chargés de surveiller toutes personnes ayant un comportement suspect et d’effectuer les tortures. La plupart des prisonniers des chercheurs sont retenus dans la tour des corbeaux, la prison impériale centrale dont l’accès est interdit. Puisque personne n’est autorisé à faire couler le sang de quelqu’un qui est du sang, les chercheurs ont été forcés de concevoir des méthodes innovantes et atrocement douloureuses afin de procéder aux interrogatoires des nobles. Le but est de briser le sujet sans qu’il verse une seule goutte de sang. La plupart des prisonniers tentent de se suicider lorsqu’ils apprennent qu’ils vont être conduit à la tour des corbeaux.
Edit: post exeptionnel en dehors du forum communauté. Je suis un nouveau Seanchan et je voulais mettre la définition de ma profession. Ce sujet semblait tout indiqué pour ça.
Faut être logique aussi hein, un post sur et par les Seanchans quand il n'y a que des multis Seanchans, comment veux-tu faire autrement ?
Surtout que cette règle avait été faite pour éviter de prendre des multis pour de nouveaux joueurs.
Hors là on sait bien que se sont des multis, et dans le cas de Tarlic, de qui il s'agit, alors........
